Our Family Tree

I found this entry in the U.S. Census of 1900 under the name "William Heffinglow" If you look closely, you can see
a cross on the top of what someone thought was the L in the last name, making it actually a T. After comparing the names
and birth dates, I'm certain this is the entry for William Heffington and family.

According to this Census, William was a Ferryman, he was paying a morgage on a farm
and the entire family could read, write and spoke english.
